Our Agency’s History

Baker Welman Brown has been serving the people of Southeast Missouri, Northeast Arkansas, and beyond since 1939. Charles B. Baker, J. C. Welman, and T. A. Brown, Jr. founded the agency with the purchase of the Oaks Insurance Agency and began doing business as Baker-Welman Insurance Agency in March of 1939.
